Optus Stadium

Amazing arena, absolutely mind-blowing seeing it for the first time. I love how easy it was to navigate, you enter through a specific side of the building depending on where your ticket says to enter. And the process is fairly fast.My partner and I went to see Guns n Roses, and it was absolutely thrilling seeing them live. However, because the Stadium was so massive (it fits 80k people) we obviously could not see the band members whatsoever, they were so far away. We needed to watch the giant screens to be able to see them. That really sucked.But the worst thing about this arena (and the main reason why its getting 3-stars) is the audio. The audio of the music and instruments was so distorted (it sounds fine over audio and video recordings) but in person it sounded like it was echoing off the walls. And with the arena's roof being open, that distorted the sound quality even more.My partner and I left halfway through (as did MANY people) because it just wasn't enjoyable after 30mins. Unfortunately I will never return unless Metallica performs there. But ultimately, Id rather fly interstate for that. I think they would of benefited more if they just performed twice at RAC arena.For a sports game, it would absolutely be epic and awesome, but for concerts - not so much.

Went to watch t20, bbl. Fantastic experience. Great stadium. As I expected food was a bit exspensive but tickets to game quite cheap. Was in area 302 so was a bit warm in the sun. Recommend the other side of the ground.

First time ever watching a game at Optus Stadium. Really good view from my seat in the second tier, row 3. Great sound & lighting. The food I had was better priced & tastier than I had previously seen reported. My only complaint was that the ground was half in shadow before the game even started which I didn’t expect from what I’d seen on tv in other games. So the view was a bit dimmer than I expected with so much of the ground in the shade but I didn’t notice if the lights were used to brighten the ground. Public transport was a breeze, very easy to use & not much of a walk at all. Trains, busses & the city CAT busses all in easy reach. Look forward to seeing another game, hopefully with another Collingwood 10 goal win. Another surprise was there seemed almost as many Collingwood supporters as West Coast supporters in the stands which is a bit of a spin out for a Victorian club playing away in WA.

Absolutely love optus stadium! It's an amazing experience to be there. Everything you need will be there. It's beautiful and the feeling when you're there, is indescribable

One of the best sporting stadiums I've ever visited. Amazing design and facilities and not a bad seat in the house. Just astounding all round!

The stadium, which officially opened in January 2018, also hosts major concerts and entertainment events.

Great place for concerts, close to the city and easy to go. You have many different bus and even you can walk around 30 minutes and you are in the city.The stadium it's beautiful with great lightness and really clean. Many different facilities and full of sings

Always a great location to visit, for all sporting events. I have been there for cricket and rugby in the past year.It's usually not hard to get there with public transport or you always have the option of parking at Crown Burswood or Belmont Racecourse and walking over.

Very nice stadium, new.Nice seats, spacious, place (cup attached to seat in front of you in which you can put your drink).
